Visual Merchandiser (Visual Merchandising/Activity Co‑worker)
IKEA Greenwich are looking to welcome a Visual Merchandiser to our team! In IKEA we call this a Visual Merchandising/Activity Co‑worker. We are looking for a creative, detail-focused person to boost our store's visual appeal and increase sales. As a Visual Merchandiser, you will arrange merchandise to highlight key products and ensure our store layout is both attractive and functional.

* Starting salary of £30,290 based on competence and experience.
* 39 hours per week, shifts from 7 AM to 3:30 PM. The role will include occasional evening and weekend shifts to meet business needs.

What You'll Need
* Qualification in a relevant creative field.
* Working knowledge of design software such as Autodesk REvit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.
* Appreciation of home furnishings, interior design, and how people live, and ability to craft new ideas that resonate with customers.
* Comfortable using various hand tools and at ease working at heights.
* Ability to handle diverse situations and efficiently manage time to meet agreed deadlines.
* Creative spirit complemented by commercial understanding and visual skills, with a keen sense of composition and aesthetics.
Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities
* Use visual merchandising competence to highlight the uniqueness of the IKEA identity in range presentation solutions in the store by working with store layout, range presentation, and vitality.
* Understand the local market to plan and implement relevant, inspiring, affordable, and commercially effective range presentation solutions that reflect diverse styles and price points, satisfy many individual tastes, and delight our visitors.
* Collaborate with the Commerce and Marketing team and other functions, act quickly to exploit commercial opportunities and understand the impact of actions on financial results.
* Work with the commercial calendar to implement range changes, maintaining the shop floor and ensuring displays are ready for customers to browse.
