About the role
Want to take ownership of high value, high profile ICT procurements that can be politically sensitive? As Senior ICT Procurement Officer in Government Transformation Services (GTS), you will manage a caseload of complex ICT tenders for Departments, Boards and Offices across the Isle of Man Government. You will work closely with Treasury Procurement Service to ensure compliance with operational requirements, IT technical standards and GTS policies, while reviewing requirements, understanding business needs and Government constraints, and driving procurements forward to deliver value for money and the best outcomes.
This role offers the opportunity to apply and grow your expertise across complex ICT procurements, giving you autonomy to lead work with minimal supervision and use a range of procurement and contractual solutions. Your experience will shape requirements alongside GTS technical staff and support contract development with the Senior Legal Officer in Attorney General’s Chambers, while influencing how GTS delivers ICT procurement through improved processes, documentation, methods and standards, allowing your skills to make a lasting impact across Government.
