Assistant Quantity Surveyor – Residential Pricing & AI pricing development
About The Page Contracts ("TPC")
TPC is a start-up that delivers residential projects ranging from £100k–£1.5m.
We are part of the highly successful "The Page Group" and our remit is to provide the next generation of construction services to clients such as interior designers. We are building an in-house commercial and pricing capability to improve cost certainty, reduce reliance on contractor-led pricing, and develop a structured residential price book.
The Role
You will support the development of TPC's internal pricing and commercial systems.
This role combines:
* Cost planning
* Tender review
* Data analysis
* Building a structured rate library
There is a long-term opportunity to contribute to an AI-assisted pricing model as our cost database grows. This is an opportunity to help build from scratch a service that leverages AI.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in preparing in-house cost plans from drawings and specifications
* Review contractor tenders and support benchmarking exercises
* Help build and maintain a structured residential price book
* Analyse historic project data to identify cost trends and incorporate into AI powered pricing models.
* Support commercial review of variations
* Work closely with the PM and leadership team.
What We're Looking For
* 3–5 years' experience in quantity surveying
* Residential experience (refurbishment / fit-out /extensions preferred)
* Exposure to tendering or estimating
* Strong Excel skills, comfortable with AI methodologies
* Analytical and commercially curious mindset
* Comfortable working in a small, growing team

Pay: £37,447.73-£50,000.00 per year
