A dynamic and inclusive secondary school in Swindon, part of a leading Multi Academy Trust, is offering a fantastic opportunity for high-achieving graduates to join as Graduate Secondary Teaching Assistants starting in September 2025.
This is a paid, full-time position designed to give you hands-on experience in the classroom, working alongside experienced educators to support student learning, develop your teaching skills, and explore the inner workings of a successful secondary school.
Subjects We're Especially Keen to Support:
* Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics)
* Mathematics
* Modern Foreign Languages (Spanish preferred; some French)
* Geography
* Nutrition / Food Technology

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
* Supporting teaching and learning across your subject area, or more broadly as needed
* Working with students 1:1 or in small groups to boost understanding and engagement
* Helping to plan lessons and prepare classroom materials
* Supporting behaviour management and contributing to a positive learning environment
* Gaining insight into school life, policies, and best practices
Who We’re Looking For:
* Final-year students or recent graduates with a 2:1 or above
* Preferably from a Russell Group or Top 20 UK university
* Strong interest in education and working with young people
* Reliable, enthusiastic, and willing to take initiative
* Passionate about one or more of the listed subject areas
* Any prior experience with children (e.g., tutoring, mentoring, coaching) is a bonus – but not essential
