Mid-weight Designer
£30,000 – £34,000 (depending on experience)
Hybrid (4 days in the office, Fridays remote)
Who we are
We’re a creative agency that values original thinking, strong relationships and doing things well. Our team is collaborative, down‑to‑earth and genuinely supportive, with creativity and innovation at the heart of everything we do.
We work with ambitious clients on branding, events and digital projects, and we love a challenge. We care deeply about our clients, and we believe the best work comes from people who respect each other’s expertise, whilst working towards the same shared goal.
The opportunity
We’re looking for a Mid-weight Designer with the passion to drive every brief to the next level, whether that be starting from scratch or collaborating as part of a wider team. You’ll be confident presenting your ideas, comfortable challenging thinking, and eager to bring a fresh perspective that inspires those around you. You’ll work across a broad mix of branding, digital and experiential projects, contributing strong concepts, sharp visuals and thoughtful detail.
What you’ll be responsible for
• Designing across brand, digital, social, print, animation and presentations
• Turning briefs into well‑considered concepts (and then making them stand out)
• Producing high‑quality artwork that’s accurate, consistent and ready to go
• Helping evolve visual identities and brand systems
• Working closely with Senior Designers to shape creative output
• Presenting and discussing work, both internally and with clients on smaller projects
• Keeping files, assets and outputs organised (future you will thank you)
What we’re looking for
• Experience as a Mid‑weight Designer, ideally within a creative agency
• Strong conceptual thinking with excellent design skills
• Confidence working independently, while knowing when to collaborate or ask questions
• Clear communication - explaining your ideas comes with the job
• A sharp eye for detail (yes, we’ll notice)
• Someone who enjoys teamwork, feedback and improving the work together
• A natural curiosity about the wider world, drawing inspiration from culture, trends and ideas beyond your own projects
Technical know‑how
• Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop)
• Confidence designing for both digital and print
• Experience preparing production‑ready artwork with accuracy and attention to detail
• A solid understanding of typography, layout, colour and brand consistency
• Familiarity with Figma (or similar) for digital design and collaboration
• Working knowledge of PowerPoint for client-facing decks (helpful, but not essential)
• An understanding of file setup, formats and export requirements
• Bonus points for experience with motion, animation or other digital tools
What you’ll get from us
• Hybrid working (office-based four days a week, remote on Fridays)
• Early finish Fridays! (We clock off at 12.30pm)
• 35 days holiday, including bank holidays
• Your birthday off (no meetings, just cake)
• Two-week Christmas shutdown (part of your holiday allowance)
• Annual bonus scheme linked to company performance
• Pension scheme, free eye tests and access to an employee assistance programme (EAP)
• Personal training and development budget
• Quarterly team outings - think crazy golf, escape rooms, and good food (always)

A few portfolio tips💡
We’re not looking for everything you’ve ever made - we’re more interested in how you think.
• Show us a considered selection of your strongest work (quality over quantity always wins)
• We love seeing a variety of work, especially projects that solve a real problem
• Context matters, so a short explanation of the brief and your thinking is helpful
• We love a sketch, so don’t be afraid to include them
• Finished artwork is great, but we’re equally interested in how you got there
