Our client has a new and exciting opportunity for an Facilities and Business Manager. You will be a key part of a small management team that is responsible for delivering an essential and critical infrastructure service.
This newly created role reports directly to the General Manager, and is a varied facilities and business management role where you will be able to make a considerable impact across the organisation, including the future shaping and delivery of a CAPEX programme aimed at upgrading or replacing existing facilities and assets to enhance sustainability. You will:
* Oversee the upgrading and maintenance and potential replacement of assets and equipment, utilizing your expertise in hard services to drive innovation and enhance performance.
* Identify and implement measures to improve sustainability, supporting the company's commitment to environmental stewardship.
* Lead and develop company-wide initiatives to drive forward operational excellence and a progressive company culture.
* Lead on soft and hard facilities management, including contract and procurement activities, vendor management (IT operations), risk and compliance, operational continuity, and lease discussions.
* Role model HSSE practices (although the role does not lead HSSE activities, any specific experience in this area would be advantageous).
Based in West/South West London and easily accessible in the M3/M4 corridor, we are looking for a highly skilled Facilities Manager with a strong technical background in hard services in highly regulated critical infrastructure environments (engineering, industrial, oil & gas, energy, chemicals, pharmaceutical manufacturing). You will have a broad business acumen and track record in overseeing CAPEX works, contractor management and procurement.
You’ll also have a recognised facilities management, business administration, electrical or mechanical engineering qualification, or equivalent professional experience.
