Diagnostic Imaging Assistant
Location: Alexandra Hospital, Cheadle
Hours: 37.5 per week, permanent

Overview
We are seeking a motivated and adaptable Imaging Assistant to support the delivery of our Bupa Breast and Prostate pathways, and Breast Clinics. This full‑time role will support clinical and administrative functions, working closely with specialist nursing and imaging teams in a fast‑paced, patient‑focused environment. The ideal candidate is proactive, organised, and committed to excellent patient care and will thrive in a dynamic setting.
Duties
* Work as an integral part of the imaging team, providing a high standard of patient‑centred care.
* Collaborate with the multi‑disciplinary team to deliver care and maintain customer service satisfaction under the supervision of a Registered Practitioner.
* Conduct yourself professionally within the HCA/Imaging Assistant standard framework, respecting the NMC and HCPC codes of conduct.
* Demonstrate competence in the scope of the Imaging Assistant role.
* Provide safe, high‑quality care for patients.
* Comply with all mandatory training.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in an Imaging or Healthcare Assistant role.
* Experience in customer care, including interacting with customers in challenging situations.
* Care Certificate.
* NVQ Level 1 and/or willingness to work towards NVQ Level 2 (Healthcare specific) or equivalent.
* Willingness to work towards NVQ Level 3 (Healthcare specific) or equivalent.
* Maths, English GCSE at grades A to C or equivalent functional skills level 2 evidence.
