People Team Assistant
Company: Geoquip Marine, global leaders in offshore geotechnical engineering.

Salary: £24,000 per annum

Job summary: As a People Team Assistant at Geoquip Marine, you will provide proactive and highly organized administrative support across the People Team.
Responsibilities
* Provide general administrative support to ensure smooth day‑to‑day operations.
* Act as the first point of contact for employees, monitoring inbox and escalating as needed.
* Assist with employee lifecycle activities, including onboarding, offboarding, documentation collection, induction arrangements and records completion.
* Maintain and update employee information in databases, ensuring accuracy and GDPR compliance.
* Prepare and file documents such as contracts, correspondence and checklists; digitise employee and crew folders.
* Take accurate confidential notes during meetings.
* Support scheduling and coordination of People Team sessions and meetings.
* Assist with general administration when required.
* Produce standard reports and summaries from information systems on request.
* Prepare employee communications and updates, such as internal announcements or induction materials.
* Support People Team projects such as wellbeing, engagement or data‑clean‑up initiatives.
* Perform any other duties as required within the scope of the role.
Essential Qualifications
* Experience in administration or data‑entry.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
* Computer literate: MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
