Eaton’s IS AER FMC division is currently seeking an Assembly Technician. You will be part of a team that assembles high‑performing hydraulic pumps, motors, electrical generators and other components used to operate flight‑control systems on civil and military aircraft. What You’ll Do
The primary function of this role is to assemble new hydraulic pumps, motors and generators. The applicant must be able to interpret drawings and have the necessary skills to build aerospace products using an SOP. Other duties will include involvement in 5S and lean manufacturing activities, and at times participate in 8D investigations.
Qualifications
* Advantageous: An aerospace qualification or other similar manufacturing assembly qualification.
* Ability to work to small tolerances and to sign a “stamp” to confirm work has met all relevant specifications.
* Experience working with US ITAR controlled technology, goods and information, and readiness to undergo additional screening if required.
