Are you an experienced SENDCo, SEN teacher, or education professional with a strong background in Special Educational Needs looking for a non‑child‑facing role within education? Do you have experience managing EHCP processes, coordinating assessments, writing reports, and supporting SEND provision within schools?
Responsibilities
* Support the SENDCo with EHCP reviews, annual reviews, and referral processes.
* Complete assessment paperwork, reports, and written documentation.
* Take and organise meeting notes for SEND meetings, parent consultations, and multi‑agency discussions.
* Maintain accurate SEN records and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
* Liaise with teaching staff, external agencies, and parents where required.
* Assist with the coordination of interventions and pupil support documentation.
* Support the smooth day‑to‑day running of the SEND department.
Qualifications
* Previous experience as a SENDCo, assistant SENDCo, SEN teacher, or within a SEN support role.
* Strong knowledge of SEND processes, EHCPs, and statutory requirements.
* Excellent written and organisational skills.
* Experience completing assessments, reports, and professional documentation.
* Confidence working collaboratively with education professionals and external agencies.
* A professional, organised, and detail‑oriented approach.
* The ability to manage sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position, with the possibility of becoming permanent at a later date. All applicants must possess the appropriate qualifications, training, and a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
