The ERP Platform team, part of the Platforms and Delivery Division, is responsible for managing and maintaining SJP’s Unit4 ERP system, deployed in a SaaS model. The team ensures smooth operation of system processes, automations, interfaces, and handles Unit4 upgrades, governance and compliance activities. Its primary focus is delivering a backlog of continuous improvement enhancements and critical changes, while collaborating with Unit4 partners and third parties on larger‑scale initiatives, covering design, build and testing activities.


ERP Development and Reporting Consultant

The ERP Development and Reporting Consultant is pivotal in shaping and optimising our Unit4 ERP environment. Acting as a subject‑matter expert for core modules, you will provide advanced reporting expertise across tools such as Report Engine, Info Browsers, dashboards and workspaces.


What you’ll be doing

* Configuring and designing solutions across multiple Unit4 ERP modules
* Promoting best practice within the team using our service delivery system to supplement our internal change management process
* Managing internal and external stakeholders including Unit4, Unit4 partners and heads of business departments; providing reporting updates and prioritising actions feeding into project plans
* Resource planning and management of internal and external development resources across multiple programmes
* Leading and assisting report development and larger‑scale Request for Change (RFCs)
* Supporting the change management process for RFCs and project developments following agreed project lifecycle and change management methodology
* Engaging with the ERP Management team to communicate risks, issues and priorities
* Interpreting requirements and challenging business rationale where appropriate


Who we’re looking for

We are looking for an experienced Unit4 subject‑matter expert who can demonstrate a proven track record across a diverse range of ERP change requests and projects.


Essential Criteria

* Experience of designing and implementing complex solutions using the Unit4 ERP product and delivering business and systems consultancy
* Ability to design and implement advanced solutions across a broad range of Unit4 ERP modules, with particular focus on Financials, Logistics and Common
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills combined with experience of managing stakeholder relationships across different levels
* Thorough knowledge and experience of Unit4 reporting tools and data structures including Report Engine, Info Browsers, dashboards and workspaces
* Proficiency in the use of SQL in reporting, alerting and automation


Desirable Criteria

* Good familiarity with Unit4 API and automation techniques
* Familiarity with Unit4 public APIs and Extension Kit


Special Requirements

* Some business travel may be necessary
