This employee-owned architectural practice employs around 50 professionals across two UK studios. The practice is widely recognised for its thoughtful, inclusive, and sustainable design ethos, delivering high-quality projects across the education, healthcare, commercial, and later-living sectors. With continued growth across its education portfolio, they are now seeking a Senior Architect to lead projects across the South from concept through to completion.
Role & Responsibilities
* Lead the design and delivery of education projects from concept through to completion
* Report directly to the Project Director, ensuring design quality and consistency across all RIBA stages
* Manage and mentor a team of architects and designers, supporting professional development
* Build and maintain strong client relationships, coordinating with consultants and contractors
* Contribute to work-winning activities and support business development within the education sector
* Oversee project budgets, programmes, and delivery to ensure high-quality outcomes
Required Skills & Experience
* ARB registered Architect with a minimum of 5 years’ UK experience post Part III
* Proven experience leading projects through all RIBA stages
* Strong knowledge of UK building regulations and education sector standards
* Demonstrated ability to lead and manage architectural teams effectively
* Excellent client-facing, communication, and presentation skills
* Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD
