Job Description Programme Manager - Aftermarket Operations Full Time Derby / Hybrid 3 days on-site What you will be doing: We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join the Civil Aerospace Aftermarket Operations team as a Programme Manager, We strive to deliver the highest standard of ongoing care for our customers. We are responsible for the development and deployment of the next generation of services, ensuring Rolls-Royce remains a market leader in this critical area generating the profit and cash to support the rest of the Group. As a member of the Aftermarket Operations Programme Management team, you will be deployed to one or more key programmes or projects, which are critical to transforming the Aftermarket Operations business. You will be responsible for the planning, delegation, monitoring, and control of all aspects of the project, and the motivation of those involved, to achieve the project’s objectives / output with the expected performance targets of time, cost, quality, scope, benefits and risks. This will be a challenging role and provide an excellent opportunity to develop your career and build a strong network across the breadth of Aftermarket Operations. 2025 will see more large engines visiting overhaul facilities than ever before in Rolls-Royce’s history. The MRO Capacity and Capability Team operates in Aftermarket Operations, leading many exciting and high-profile projects to increase the total capacity of Civil Aerospace’s Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul (MRO) facilities. This includes expanding our existing Joint Venture facilities like N3EOS (Germany) and SAESL (Singapore) and building brand new MRO facilities such as BAESL (Beijing) and New Europe Shop. The team are also at the early stages of establishing other high-profile capacity which is critical to keeping the fleet flying in both short- and long-term fleet health. You will join the team at an exciting and busy time. Our role is to integrate engineering, commercial, procurement, quality, finance and many other functions effectively, aligning and deploying this expertise to ensure that Rolls-Royce's network of MRO facilities grows in size and capability quickly to service our rapidly increasing global fleet. Responsibilities: Within this role, leading a MRO Capacity or Capability programme, you will be: Accountable for the successful delivery to cost, specification and time for a defined package of work within the portfolio. You will secure and manage the provision of resources needed for projects from internal and/or external providers. Responsible for the creation and management of an integrated set of plans / schedules. Develop and secure budgets for the project(s) and control the forecast and actual costs against the allocated budget. Establish, develop and maintain the documentation necessary to deliver the package(s) of work within the project. Act as the focal point and escalation route for all aspects related to the packages of work within the project. Identify, address, and resolve differences between individuals and / or interest groups. Organize and chair schedule review meetings and report areas where executive decisions need to be made.
