HR Business Partner at Salutem Care and Education
Location: Home‑based with national travel in the South of England.

About The Role
As a HR Business Partner, you’ll play a key role in delivering our people strategy and supporting the business to achieve its objectives. You’ll lead on HR projects and change initiatives, while coaching and empowering managers to create a positive culture and manage performance effectively. This is a senior‑level role requiring strong commercial awareness, experience and the ability to handle complex employee relations issues.
Key Responsibilities
* Drive the implementation of the People Plan to meet business goals.
* Ensure HR policies and procedures are compliant, consistent, and up to date.
* Lead strategic HR projects and integrations.
* Coach and train managers on HR processes and best practice.
* Manage complex disciplinary, grievance, and performance cases.
* Oversee change initiatives such as TUPE transfers and restructures.
* Produce insightful HR reports and analyse trends to drive improvement.
* Line‑manage HR Officers and mentor team members.
* Build strong relationships across the organisation and with external stakeholders.
* Deputise for the Director of HR & Resourcing when required.
What We’re Looking For
* CIPD Level 7 or equivalent experience in a senior HR role.
* Strong knowledge of employment law, including TUPE and redundancy.
* Proven experience in generalist HR at a senior level (care sector experience desirable).
* Excellent communication and influencing skills.
* Ability to work autonomously, under pressure, and to deadlines.
* Proactive, dynamic, and results‑focused with a collaborative approach.
