We are seeking a proactive and commercially driven Business Development Manager to accelerate growth across key UK (Southern Region) B2B channels. This role will focus on identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities, while also expanding existing accounts through value-led solutions and long-term partnerships. The successful candidate will be instrumental in driving revenue growth, increasing market share, and strengthening the organisation’s presence across cash & carry, wholesale, food distribution, and food & beverage sectors. Reporting directly to the senior commercial leadership team, this is a highly visible role offering autonomy, influence, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the commercial direction of the business. Key Responsibilities Proactively identify, target, and convert new business opportunities Develop and execute business development strategies aligned with company growth objectives Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision makers across target markets Expand existing customer accounts by identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities Manage and maintain an active sales pipeline using CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) Represent the business at trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights to inform strategy Supportive Environment & Career Development Our client recognises that its people are key to its success.
