Overview

You will have a keen eye for detail to ensure our facilities are clean, safe and well maintained.
As a cleaner, your duties will include dusting, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning toilets, emptying bins and deep cleaning in all areas of the school plus other general cleaning but this list is not exclusive. Reports to: Cleaning Supervisor. Start date: as soon as possible. Job type: Casual (when the need arises). The role is split across two locations with the following core working hours.
Responsibilities
* Clean and maintain school facilities across designated locations including dusting, vacuuming, mopping and cleaning toilets.
* Empty bins and perform deep cleaning in all areas of the school.
* Adhere to safety and safeguarding policies for a learning environment.
* Report to the Cleaning Supervisor and coordinate duties across locations as required.
* Cover/undertake duties at multiple John Lyon sites as needed (Senior School, Sudbury Pavilion, and Prep School).
Location, hours and role specifics
* Principal Location: John Lyon School, Co. address: Middle Road, Harrow-on-the-Hill, HA2 0HN.
* Alternate sites: John Lyon Sudbury Pavilion, HA1 3SB; John Lyon Prep School, Hindes Road, Harrow, HA1 1RX.
* Term Time: Monday to Friday, 4:00pm – 9:00pm at the Senior School.
* School Holidays: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 2:00pm (location may vary).
* Additional hours may occasionally be available based on need; weekly hours are not guaranteed.
