Occupational Therapist Clinical Stroke Specialist

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 7 Occupational Therapist to join the Stroke Rehabilitation Team in Llandudno Hospital. We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated person to join the team. The post is 29.63 hours per week until 31.3.27.
The successful candidate will be required to support the Occupational Therapy team to meet stroke assessment and intervention targets on the ward and as part of the wider stroke rehabilitation pathway. Prior stroke experience is essential and the post holder must be able to demonstrate highly specialist stroke skills as an autonomous practitioner.
Main duties of the job
You must be able to demonstrate highly specialist clinical, managerial and leadership skills and will haveexcellent organisational and time management skills in order to manage a clinical caseload and team leader responsibilities.
You will be able to initiate and implement service changes whilst supporting the development of the team through supervision and appraisal. Excellent communication skills will be required to forge effective working relationships, challenge current practice and develop innovative solutions to improve patient outcomes.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
