GSL Education are looking for a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to work within schools in Nottingham, covering the NG11 area, contributing to consistent learning and providing high-quality classroom support.
As an HLTA, you will work with teachers to deliver lessons, support small groups, and maintain a positive learning environment. Your role ensures pupils stay engaged and supported throughout the day
Prime Responsibilities:
* Deliver pre-planned lessons in the teacher’s absence.
* Support individual pupils and small groups to reinforce learning.
* Assist with lesson preparation and classroom organisation.
* Promote positive behaviour and follow school policies consistently.
* Provide feedback to teaching staff on pupil progress and engagement.
Requirements:
* HLTA status or relevant teaching assistant qualification and experience.
* Confidence working independently across different year groups.
* Strong communication and classroom management skills.
* A flexible and professional approach to school life.
* An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
