Senior Software Engineer – Core Experiences Team
Responsible for building and maintaining foundational services and SDKs that power Speechify’s product experience across platforms.
Responsibilities
* Collaborate with product teams to scope projects, identify trade‑offs, and deliver solutions via cross‑platform SDK.
* Optimize existing functionality to improve performance such as faster loading and intelligent parsing.
* Ship cloud functions, lightweight backend services, and scheduled jobs using Kotlin.
Qualifications
* Systems thinking and a focus on end‑to‑end design and simplicity.
* Speed in generating ideas and making decisions on what can ship now versus needs time.
* Collaboration skills to work with designers, marketers, and PMs.
* Experience with Kotlin Multiplatform and familiarity with Java.
* Prior experience with GCP is a plus.
