Salary: £30,869.34 Hours: 37 per week Shifts: 08:30 - 16:30 Monday to Thursday, 08:00 – 16:00 Friday Location: Okehampton Training Camp, Devon, EX20 1QP About The Role Landmarc Support Services are seeking a dedicated and proactive Team Leader to support the upkeep of the UK’s Training Estate, an essential environment where our Armed Forces train. This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for someone who leads by example and takes pride in maintaining safe, efficient, and well-presented facilities. As Team Leader, you’ll manage a group of operatives responsible for cleaning accommodation blocks, maintaining grounds and buildings, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. You’ll play an active role in daily operations, spending around 80% of your time working alongside your team. Key Responsibilities Support the Team Supervisor with day-to-day operations Lead and motivate your team, managing task allocation and performance Deliver high standards in cleaning, maintenance, and waste reduction Monitor stock levels and manage supplies efficiently Carry out general building and grounds maintenance Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety regulations (COSH/IOSH) Maintain accurate records using IT and paper-based systems Contribute flexibly to team success by supporting wider operational needs The Ideal Candidate Experience in Facilities Management or leading teams in a similar environment Knowledge of soft FM services, including housekeeping and grounds maintenance Strong communication and leadership skills Basic IT proficiency (Microsoft Office and databases) A proactive, solution-focused mindset Understanding of Health & Safety standards (COSH/IOSH) A valid UK driving licence (essential) This is a meaningful opportunity to support a vital part of the UK’s defence infrastructure.
