I'm pleased to be supporting a large professional services organisation to recruit a Billing Administrator to join their growing team on a 12-Month FTC. This is a terrific opportunity to join a busy environment in a varied and hands-on role within a central finance function. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to monitor billing activity, manage queries and ensure bills are prepared and dispatched in line with policy and client requirements. The position offers exposure to a high-volume billing environment where accuracy, communication and organisation are essential. Key Responsibilities Ensure bills are issued and dispatched within agreed timeframes Generate billing reports Manage a high volume of invoices and billing-related queries Liaise with the Working Capital Support team to resolve complex queries Prepare narratives and detailed fee breakdowns as required Draft covering documentation in preparation for dispatch Facilitate bill dispatch in line with client-specific requirements Liaise with the eBilling team regarding billing guidelines and portal requirements Request credit notes and re-issue instructions via finance workflow and manage other post-billing queries Collaborate with wider finance teams to ensure accurate and timely drafting and preparation of bills Candidate Profile Experience within a partnership or professional services environment with a focus on billing Strong written and verbal communication skills, with confidence engaging senior stakeholders Excellent attention to detail and a consistent track record of producing accurate work Ability to manage workload effectively, prioritise tasks and work to tight deadlines Proactive, self-motivated and able to anticipate workflow demands This opportunity would be ideal for someone with experience in a professional services environment looking to build on some of their existing finance experience.
