We have a fantastic opportunity for a Family Activity Assistant to work in our dynamic team at The Belfry, England's leading Hotel and Resort. We have 320 bedrooms, 2 rosette standard dining, five food and beverage outlets, fantastic leisure facilities including our 20 treatment rooms & pool and of course, what we are famous for...golf. We have a really exciting year ahead at The Belfry, with hosting The British Masters in August 2024 and continuing with the launch of new training and development opportunities and incentives.
Salary
The on-target earning potential for this role is 11.48 - 12.04 per hour, compromising of a base hourly rate of 10.88 - 11.44 plus a qualified estimate of 0.60 gratuities per hour.
About the role
As the Family Activity Assistant is responsible for enhancing the Family guest experience by providing exceptional service and support to families and individuals enjoying our activities during half term holidays. This role involves meeting and greeting guests, ensuring a clean and welcoming environment, setting up and maintaining games and activities, and assisting the Guest Relations Manager in delivering outstanding customer service.
It will be your responsibility to:
Welcome guests upon arrival and assist them throughout their visit. Provide information about available activities and answer any questions they may have.
Set up games and activities each morning, ensuring all equipment is clean, safe, and in good working order. Monitor and maintain activity areas throughout the day.
Keep the activity areas clean and tidy by regularly, and ensuring the space is always presentable.
Monitor activities to ensure the safety and well-being of all guests, especially children. Follow all safety protocols and report any hazards to the appropriate parties.
Work closely with the Guest Relations Manager and other team members to create a seamless guest experience. Assist in coordinating schedules and activities.
Adhere to company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.
