We are seeking an experienced Head ofmercial Property to lead the strategic management of a diversemercial property portfolio. This is a senior leadership role responsible for driving performance, maximising returns, and ensuring efficient asset utilisation. You will act as the organisation’s expert onmercial property matters, shaping long-term strategies and delivering innovative solutions aligned with corporate objectives.
Your new role
1. Develop and implement a strategic vision for themercial property portfolio.
2. Oversee day-to-day management and continuous review of assets to optimise performance.
3. Provide expert advice on landlord and tenant matters, lease renewals, and property transactions.
4. Lead financial planning and budget management for the portfolio.
5. Drive improvements in asset utilisation, rental ie, and operational efficiency.
6. Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
7. Represent the organisation at key meetings and act as an expert witness when required.
8. Lead and develop a high-performing team, fostering innovation and continuous improvement.
What you'll need to succeed
9. Professional Qualification: Member or Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) –mercial Property Practice or equivalent.
10. Experience: Significant leadership experience inmercial property management and asset strategy.
11. Strong knowledge of landlord & tenant legislation, property valuation, and RICS standards.
12. Proven ability to manageplex property transactions and deliver value for money.
13. Excellentmunication and influencing skills, with experience presenting to senior stakeholders.
14. Strong understanding of financial regulations and procurement processes.
