Develop a detailed technical understanding of the RIS/PACS systems architecture at DGT and within the K&M ICS and will be DGTs primary technical expert on PACS/RIS. Work with the Digital Service (DS) managers to facilitate first line technical support and take part in second line technical support and problem solving with the DS Technical team. Manage planned maintenance and upgrades. Work with the RIS/PACs system vendors to maintain the PACS/RIS architecture When necessary the post holder will provide out of hours IM&T support for Radiology.
Ensure all local documentation, databases, system configuration documents and associated information streams are maintained and current. Work closely with the Trust DS department to ensure a seamless delivery of Radiology services. See Job description attached.
