Estimator – Retail / Commercial Fitout
Salary: £25,000 – £35,000 DOE
Location: West Midlands (commutable from Dudley, Wolverhampton, Walsall, Stourbridge, Birmingham)

Join a fast-paced, hands-on team as an Estimator, shaping the cost and delivery of bespoke retail and commercial fitouts. You’ll play a key role in ensuring projects are profitable, accurate, and reflective of exceptional craftsmanship, working closely with internal teams, suppliers, and clients.

Key Responsibilities
* Prepare accurate, detailed cost estimates and proposals for projects.
* Review drawings, specifications, and requirements to produce time and cost analyses.
* Collaborate with suppliers, contractors, and internal teams to secure competitive pricing.
* Present and justify estimates to sales and contracts teams for client submission.
* Maintain cost databases, templates, and estimating tools.
* Monitor project costs and adjust estimates as needed.
* Support alignment between estimates, design, and execution.
* Identify process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
* Produce clear documentation and reports for internal and client use.
* Support account managers in achieving project and business objectives.
Experience Required
* Proven experience as an Estimator in fit-out, shopfitting, or manufacturing.
* Strong commercial awareness and understanding of construction or fabrication processes.
* Excellent numerical, analytical, and negotiation skills.
* Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office.
* Highly organised with attention to detail and ability to meet multiple deadlines.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proactive, solutions-focused mindset with commitment to accuracy.
* Flexibility to travel occasionally to support projects
