Overview
We are looking for a proactive and detail-driven Compliance Officer to join our team. This role is key to ensuring compliance across Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) activities, contractor management, and data accuracy. You'll be the go-to person for coordinating compliance schedules, tracking performance against KPIs, and ensuring contractors are booked and managed effectively. This is a varied role that requires excellent administrative skills, strong communication, and the ability to interpret technical documentation into clear, actionable information.
Responsibilities
* Coordinate and arrange Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) compliance activities.
* Manage and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance.
* Liaise with and schedule contractors, ensuring bookings are accurate and timely.
* Keep compliance databases and records updated and accurate.
* Review and interpret technical and remedial documentation, providing clear and concise feedback.
* Handle telephone and email queries professionally, ensuring excellent customer service.
* Support internal teams with reporting, data management, and compliance-related administration.
* Identify and suggest opportunities to improve processes, bringing fresh ideas to the table.
* Collaborate positively with colleagues, fostering a strong team spirit.
* Participate in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) days to support our community initiatives.
Qualifications
* Strong administrative and organisational skills with keen attention to detail.
* Confident communicator with excellent telephony and written communication skills.
* Ability to read, interpret, and action remedial or technical documentation.
* IT literate, with experience working with databases and Microsoft Office packages.
* A positive, professional, and proactive personality, with a flexible approach to work.
* Someone open to innovation, continuous improvement, and contributing new ideas.
* Previous experience in a compliance, facilities management, or administrative role (desirable).

Salary banding varies depending on experience. We are open to applications from experienced compliance administrators, as well as enthusiastic individuals at the start of their career who are keen to learn and grow within the compliance field.
