About The Role
As a Business Financial Advisor, you’ll be part of a team of self-motivated, sales team through the effective delivery of existing products and financial advisory solutions in the Kwa-Natal region. Successful candidate will be based in Newcastle and Ladysmith Offices.
Are you someone who can:
1. Achieve previously determined sales targets across the business by identifying opportunities to advise on FirstRand investment and risk products
2. Identify new business opportunities that impact on the industry and record and forward these leads to the appropriate product house to ensure cross sell opportunities and to strengthen client relationships
3. Deliver exceptional Financial Advice to FNB Customers that exceeds customers’ expectations through proactive, innovative and appropriate solutions
4. Manage new clients, personal portfolios and identify specific needs and goals in respect of financial advice
5. Manage existing clients and grow portfolio through contacting customers, generating leads and managing the growth of active customer account base to increase client base
6. Ensure adherence to relevant processes and compliance to legislative and audit requirements. Manage high volume and less complex deals
7. Keep up to date with own area of expertise to develop and maintain own professional knowledge base in order to provide effective support and advice
You will be an ideal candidate if you:
8. Relevant Degree in Financial Planning (Industry Related Degree. Preferably a CFP Designation (Certified Financial Planner).

18. Long-Term Insurance subcategory C
19. Retail Pension Benefits
20. Pension Funds Benefit
21. Shares
22. Money Market Instruments
23. Participatory Interests in a collective Investment Scheme
24. Forex Investment
25. Long-Term Deposits
26. Short-Term Deposits
27. +5 years’ experience in a similar environment
28. Experience in writing Business Insurance policies
29. Experience in sales, investment and risk acumen
30. Experience within the Financial Services Sector
31. Person must not be an unrehabilitated insolvent
32. In accordance with National Credit Act (NCA) candidates applying for this role will require a credit record check
