We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Team Leader to provide daily professional and managerial support to the community nursing team.
In this role, you will be committed to delivering the highest standards of patient-centred care for patients and their families through the development and management of staff under your supervision.
As an independent and autonomous practitioner, the post holder will leverage extensive knowledge, expertise, proficiency, and experience to guide and empower the team, ensuring the delivery of a high-quality service. You will assist the Senior Nurse Manager in overseeing and providing professional leadership to all nursing team members. The successful candidate will ensure that our services adhere to statutory obligations, professional standards, and the organisation's policies and procedures, thereby maintaining our commitment to excellence in nursing care. The successful candidate will be required to work occasional and overnight shifts, with the majority of shifts scheduled during core hours, Monday to Friday. Applicants must hold current 1st Level NMC Registration and possess a post-registration degree, as well as a management diploma or equivalent level of experience. A strong background in change management and leading practice development initiatives is essential. Candidates should demonstrate excellent communication, leadership, and influencing skills, along with the ability to show resilience and self-motivation while working independently.
A driving license is preferred due to the geographical requirements of the role.
Shift pattern - Mon-Sun 08:30-16:30 with occasional back shifts and overnight shifts.
