We're looking for Brunch Chefs at WatchHouse Hampstead Heath. Located on South End road opposite Hampstead Overground - this is a busy and vibrant coffee house serving beautiful coffee along with fresh and seasonal brunch dishes - Smashed Avo, Poached Eggs & the best Sweet Corn Fritters in town! Key
aspects of the role:

You’ll work as a key dynamic of the brunch kitchen team. Your
role will require you to independently run the service of food in the café.
●
Working 5 days out of 7 (including weekends), from open til
3:30pm on weekdays and 4:30pm on weekends.
●
You are accountable for the quality of food served in the café
so work to high standards and follow dish specifications precisely. Preparing
ingredients, cooking, warming, plating, and finishing dishes for service.
●
You’ll be receiving products from both the CPU and external
suppliers and do this accurately to manage portioning, rotation and wastage
appropriately. Knowledgeable and passionate you’ll promote our menu and food
quality by talking to and educating your fellow House team and customers.

You diligently maintain Food Hygiene standards, Health &
Safety standards, and ensure proper food safety standards in the kitchen by
implementing and following our policies and procedures, labelling, rotation,
and cleaning routines, amongst others.

You ensure that you keep refrigeration and freezers organised,
ensure all food and other items are stored properly, and regularly deep clean
equipment.
●
Always proactive and professional. Calm under pressure, you
demonstrate organisation, preparation, and efficiency during busy periods, and
take pleasure and pride in the job that you do.

A problem solver, you look for solutions in the face of problems
and work hard to support everyone at WatchHouse.
This role is full time 30-40 hours per week. You'll be based at one location but we ask that everyone is flexible and willing to help out at one of the 16 sites across London.
Professional
Qualifications / Experience Preferred
●
Previous leadership experience in a brunch style or food service
kitchen within a high-end food & beverage environment; which includes
working within a kitchen team.
●
Understanding of Food Hygiene standards, Health & Safety
standards. Certification will be required.
