This roles is one to one support for a client with MND, so previous experience would be desired, but training can be provided if needed. Roles and Responsibilities as a Waking Night Personal Assistant Providing personal care duties Administering medication Manual handling, using equipment where required Promoting customer health and well-being, enabling them to live their life to the full Promoting hydration and nutrition needs Supporting customer with medical equipment Supporting with regular welfare checks during the night Your Experience and Suitability for the Waking Night Personal Assistant It’s isn’t about previous experience. But don’t panic, we’ll ensure you have all the right training and development because we care for our Care Assistants. After all, they care for our customers so it’s important that you feel equipped for the role.
