Technical Account Manager Air & Water Hygiene Division

We are seeking a Technical Account Manager to support and expand our client's Air & Water Hygiene Division. This hybrid role combines technical engineering expertise with client management, division growth, and team leadership. In addition to a salary of up to GBP50,000, you will also be offered:

Your Role:
As a Technical Account Manager, you will:
* Deliver planned and reactive water hygiene tasks to meet HSG274, HTM04-01, and ACoP L8 standards
* Perform chlorination, disinfection, sampling, testing, and chemical dosing
* Maintain Chlorine Dioxide (ClO2) dosing systems and support steam boiler and cooling system treatment (desirable)
* Act as the primary contact for clients, providing technical support, reporting, and quotations, with a focus on growing your client base
* Lead service quality efforts, mentor junior engineers, and support recruitment for expanding contracts
This role is ideal for a technical expert aiming to progress into management. It offers a unique blend of technical delivery, team leadership, and sales growth opportunities.
What We’re Looking For:
* 5+ years of experience in water hygiene or mechanical services
* Strong knowledge of L8/HSG274, BS8580, HTM04-01, and water regulations
* Proven ability to quote remedial works and produce technical reports
* Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office
* Excellent communication, sales, and client-facing skills, with experience leading or managing engineers
* Full UK driving license
* Experience with steam boiler and cooling water treatment
* Knowledge of ClO2 generation systems
* Plumbing or mechanical qualifications (NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent)
* IOSH/SSSTS or equivalent health & safety certification
