Contract: Permanent, split between Hunts/Dodds and Cambs/Ely localities.
Location: East of England Community Health and Care NHS Trust (Cambridgeshire).
Full time, 37.5 hours per week, flexible working.
Salary: £39,959 – £48,117 per annum (pro‑rata). Closing date: 22 June 2026.
Job overview
A full‑time Band 6 specialist physiotherapist required to support musculoskeletal (MSK) services in Huntingdon/Doddington and Cambridge/Ely teams, providing clinical and administrative support.
Main duties
* Deliver advanced assessment and treatment of patients with complex and chronic MSK conditions, including face‑to‑face, virtual and group settings.
* Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date clinical records and contribute to clinical governance and policy development.
* Prioritise referrals, manage caseload, delegate and supervise junior staff, and provide clinical leadership.
* Provide spontaneous and planned advice, teaching and training to relatives, carers and other professionals.
* Coordinate physiotherapy services in GP clinics/surgeries when required.
Qualifications & Training
* HCPC registration.
* Physiotherapy degree.
* Evidence of postgraduate courses and CPD.
Experience
* Substantial postgraduate MSK experience, at least 18 months in MSK.
* Supervisory skills and previous NHS experience.
Knowledge & Skills
* Expert knowledge of musculoskeletal physiotherapy.
* Reflective practice and high level clinical reasoning.
* Strong communication, interpersonal skills and teamwork.

You must hold appropriate UK professional registration and comply with the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and Disclosure and Barring Service disclosure requirements.
