Are you looking for an opportunity to develop a career in sales within the manufacturing/engineering sectors?
You will be joining a large metal distribution company based in the Nottingham (NG7) area, where you will be responsible for managing and developing an existing portfolio of key accounts. You will predominantly be handling inbound enquiries over the phone and email, and the only outbound calling you will be required to do will be to existing customers and dormant accounts.
The main purpose of the role is to offer support to the exiting sales team, and look to proactively generate new leads and enquiries from existing customers and lapsed/dormant accounts. Being comfortable on the phone is important, however it will be making calls to warm accounts rather than out and out cold calling.
Due to the size of the business there will be genuine opportunities for you to develop and progress further down the line.

Ideally you will have previous experience in a B2B sales office, whether that in a sales role, and account manager role, or even an admin or customer service role where you are looking to take the next step up.
Having experience in an engineering /manufacturing/stockholding/distribution industry sector would be advantageous, however having the ability to communicate well and build good relationships with customers is the main requirement.

Salary up to £27,000 depending on experience
Annual Bonus
Monday - Friday 8am-5pm
