Overview
Role: Rotating Shift Manufacturing Technician
Location: Hove
Hours: Monday to Friday 6:30am - 2:15pm / Monday to Friday 2:00pm - 9:45pm (weekly rotating)
Pay: £13.91 per hour + holiday pay
Contract: Fixed Term Contract until June 2026
Responsibilities
* Operate production machinery
* Follow Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and maintain high housekeeping standards
* Complete documentation accurately including batch records and processing instructions
* Carry out in-process checks to ensure quality standards are met
* Clean equipment and work areas in accordance with SOPs
* Use simple mathematical calculations during production processes
* Use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in line with procedures
* Support continuous improvement of quality and efficiency
* Carry out additional reasonable duties requested by management
Requirements
* Previous experience within a manufacturing environment
* Good communication skills
* Self-motivated and proactive
* Ability to follow instructions accurately
* Understanding of quality and production standards
* Ability to work safely with consideration for colleagues
* Good general standard of education, particularly in English and Maths
