We are recruiting for a Graduate Electrical Engineer to join our Cement and Packed Products Team at Aberthaw Cement Plant in Wales.
Responsibilities
* Learning your engineering craft, gaining a detailed understanding of cement engineering, manufacturing and production via a dedicated Tarmac development programme and the CRH international technical programme
* Plenty of hands-on experience on site, contributing to successful continuous plant performance, and addressing production and process bottlenecks for improved output, stability and environmental aspects
* Initially based on one plant for the first 3 years, with opportunities to gain experience on plants across the UK & Ireland cluster through an international assignment
* Assist in tracking key process parameters and analyse data to optimise plant performance, making recommendations for modifications
* Gain knowledge, understanding and practical application of safety policies, procedures and practices; actively lead and drive safety standards and improvements
* Involvement in root cause analysis to understand costs and business impacts from plant un-planned downtime
* Develop knowledge and understanding of the integration of new systems into plant operations
