Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Picker/Packer to join our team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately selecting and packing goods, ensuring efficient stock management, and maintaining high standards of safety and quality. Responsibilities
* Efficiently pick and pack items according to order specifications, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
* Handle materials safely, adhering to health and safety guidelines at all times.
* Operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery safely when required, following proper procedures.
* Manage stock levels using warehouse management systems, updating records accurately.
* Assist with shipping and receiving processes, including loading and unloading lorries.
* Maintain organisation within the warehouse, stocking shelves and ensuring products are stored correctly.
* Conduct quality control checks to verify items meet company standards before dispatch.
* Support with mechanical tasks related to warehouse equipment maintenance when necessary.
* Ensure the workspace remains clean, organised, and compliant with safety regulations.
Requirements
* Proven experience in warehousing, materials handling, or related roles.
* Familiarity with warehouse management systems and inventory control procedures.
* Ability to operate forklifts and mechanical equipment safely (training can be provided if necessary).
* Strong organisational skills with attention to detail for picking, packing, and stock management.
* Physical capability for heavy lifting and load handling throughout shifts.
* Knowledge of shipping & receiving processes and quality control standards.
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.
