An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our Community Rehabilitation Team (CRT) on a temporary basis for 1 year.
CRT provides rehabilitation to the adult population within the locality, delivering care to service users as in‑patients, out‑patients or at home.
Applicants must hold a degree in Occupational Therapy and be registered with the HCPC.
Responsibilities
* Provide assessment and treatment for a mixed caseload of mainly older people with complex needs as part of a multidisciplinary team.
* Engage in quality improvement initiatives and service development activities.
* Provide supervisory support and mentor students.
* Work at other community hospital sites as required.
* Travel throughout the area to support community rehabilitation.
* Maintain a flexible weekly schedule covering seven days, including public holidays.
Qualifications
* Degree in Occupational Therapy.
* Registration with the HCPC.
* Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
* Previous experience working with older adults with complex needs (preferred).
* Demonstrated ability to travel within the region.
