The Role - Year 6 Teacher
As a Year 6 Teacher working through Academics, you will:
Plan and deliver high-quality lessons tailored to the Year 6 curriculum.
Prepare pupils effectively for KS2 SATs, ensuring strong progress in reading, writing, and maths.
Implement robust assessment strategies to monitor attainment and progress.
Create a supportive, engaging classroom environment that motivates pupils to achieve their full potential.
Work collaboratively with colleagues, SLT, and parents to secure the best outcomes for all learners.
About You
To be considered for this Year 6 Teacher position, you must have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential.
Recent experience teaching Year 6, with a strong understanding of KS2 SATs preparation.
A commitment to raising attainment and closing gaps in learning.
Excellent subject knowledge, classroom management, and communication skills.
