You’ll be paid a salary of up to £35,000 per annum, you’ll also receive 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days so you can enjoy a positive work-life balance. What you’ll do on a typical day:
* Improve all communications and engagement on site, thinking of new innovative and technological ways of supporting the communication initiative and strategically delivering on our overall engagement agenda
* Gain support and buy in from the wider operational teams when delivering employee engagement activities that help drive an improvement in the overall colleague experience
* Establish a consistent communications channel, bringing communications into the digital age
* Successfully build, manage and deliver the year-by-year engagement calendar
* Establish a group of peers both inside and outside of the contract to build a larger engagement network, leading project groups to reimagine the wellbeing and D&I calendar
What you need to succeed at GXO:
* Proven experience in a similar communications and engagement role, or able to demonstrate these skills as part of a wider role
* Excellent people management skills with the ability to build and maintain credible and strong professional relationships at all levels
* Be an effective influencer and communicator, able to positively engage and empower others
* Strong IT skills including Word and Canva, able to be creative with new ways of working
