About This Opportunity
To assist the Welfare Advice Services Manager in providing high-quality, confidential welfare advice services to all residents within the Carlisle locality area.
Service Area Description
The Welfare Advice Service supports the work of the Homeless Prevention and Accommodation Services in Carlisle, meeting statutory duties under the Housing Act 1996, Homeless Reduction Act 2017, and Domestic Abuse Act 2021. It provides high-quality, confidential welfare and benefits advice to residents within the area.

DBS Checks
This role requires an Enhanced DBS Check, including checks against the Adult’s and Children’s Barred Lists. It involves working in regulated activity with adults. Applicants barred from such activities are ineligible.
