You will support adults with complex needs and challenging behaviours, ensuring the highest standard of care in a safe, nurturing environment. The role includes leading shifts in the absence of the House Coordinator, administering medication, supporting with personal care, and working collaboratively with external agencies and multidisciplinary teams. This is a hands-on role that may involve physical intervention (as a last resort), redirection, and providing emotional support within a therapeutic community setting. Key Responsibilities Support residents with daily living activities and personal care Administer medication safely and accurately Promote dignity, independence, and wellbeing Lead shifts in the absence of the House Coordinator Mentor and support staff, including new team members Maintain accurate records and report incidents appropriately Participate in team meetings, supervision, and training Ensure compliance with RQIA standards and Glencraig policies Essential Criteria QCF Level 3 (or equivalent) in Health & Social Care Registered with, or willing to register with, NISCC Minimum 1 years experience in a caring and/or educational support setting Experience supporting individuals with disabilities Effective communication and teamwork skills Willingness to work rota shifts including evenings and weekends Ability to provide personal care and undertake physically and emotionally demanding work Valid work permit Desirable Experience working with individuals with learning disabilities and/or challenging behaviours Experience within health and social care or educational settings I f you are interested in this position please either send your CV via the link provided or call Naomi at Kenect Recruitment on
