Join Vodafone Business Security Enhanced and strengthen the cyber security of the UK's Critical National Infrastructure and public sector organisations.
What You’ll Do
* Manage dedicated services for key VBSE stakeholders.
* Work effectively with stakeholders in relation to the deployment and ongoing support for given projects.
* Perform regular audits on the networks and systems.
* Make innovative recommendations to VBSE management/stakeholders to drive improvements.
* Work closely with the project team to provide regular updates.
* Carry out analytical diagnostics on the network.
* Liaise with wider parties to coordinate the end‑end process.
* Serve as point of contact for any major incidents and carry out problem management, escalating when necessary.
Who You Are
* Be able to maintain confidentiality and hold security clearance.
* Have a clear and analytical approach to problem management.
* Be able to work in a high‑pressurised environment.
* Willingness to learn new skills such as basic network configuration of the Ciena/Photonic Cross Connects, troubleshooting and fault finding.
* Understand Transmission equipment and networks such as Ciena.
* Have a telco, network operations background/qualifications (desired).
* Understand ITIL working practices.
* Basic concept of IP networking, switching and routing.
