Job Title: Lead Solution Architect
Location: Barrow-in-Furness.We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements - please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role
Salary: Circa £72,000 depending on skills and experience with executive car allowance and bonus on top
What you’ll be doing:
Leading a team of experienced Architects throughout assuring business changes across the Product Fulfilment customer base. With this, you will be providing coaching/mentorship to aid the development of the Architecture Team
Manage and prioritise incoming demand to the functional and overall IT strategic roadmap
Oversee the assessment of solution options in line with customer requirements
Support with the communication of organisational strategies that address information control requirements alongside the communication of corporate policy, standards and guidelines
Identifiying and monitoring market trends and emerging technologies whilst pro-actively assessing impact on functional areas including benefits and risks
Developing and presenting business cases, for high-level initiatives, approval, funding and prioritisation
Undertake architectural assurance across the programme to ensure that solutions align to company and industry standards
Your skills and experiences:
Significant experience exercising Enterprise Architecture principles in a complex business
TOGAF Certification or equivalent experience
Significant experience of managing teams within an IT Function and relevant field
Possess a high level of commercial awareness and budget management capability
A good level of experience in the delivery of key projects in a couple if not all of the Solution Definition Design and Delivery IT skill sets
Relevant IT degree/business degree or relevant experience in consultancy or people management position

The IM&T Product Fulfilment team:
By joining us in the team, you will have a fantastic opportunity to engage with multiple stakeholders across the business, determining their requirements, liaising with internal IT stakeholders and advising on IT solutions to meet them, while ensuring alignment with the functional and organisational strategy/roadmap. You will play a key part in some of our most complex and exciting programmes to date. We offer relocation support packages across all Submarines roles, subject to meeting eligibility criteria.
