We’re supporting a growing pharmaceutical manufacturing organisation in their search for an experienced QC Microbiology Technician to join their Quality Control team.
This is a hands‑on role within a regulated GMP environment, focused on ensuring the microbiological quality of raw materials, in‑process samples and finished products.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform routine microbiology testing including sterility, bioburden, endotoxin and environmental monitoring
* Support incubation, plate reading and data recording activities
* Contribute to laboratory investigations, troubleshooting and continuous improvement
* Assist with trending of microbiological data and reporting of results
* Maintain and update SOPs in line with regulatory requirements
* Ensure compliance with GMP, quality standards and health & safety practices
Requirements:
* Degree in Microbiology or a related scientific discipline
* Experience working within a GMP or regulated laboratory environment
* Hands‑on experience with core microbiology techniques (e.g. sterility, EM, endotoxin testing)
* Strong attention to detail, organisation and problem‑solving skills
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
