We are looking to hire a Senior Edit Producer who can help shape our coverage and best serve our broadcasters, all from our production facility in London. The Senior Edit Producer will be a key member of the Live Production Team, driving the editorial content produced for our World Feed and our Broadcasters, ensuring content is creative, engaging and broadcast-ready under tight deadlines. Working within the live production environment, this role leads the editorial decision-making across the edit team, collaborating with the World Feed Producer, on-site Reporter and wider production teams to shape a cohesive narrative for international broadcasters. ATP Media is looking for a dynamic, organized, forward-thinking and positive team leader for this position. Responsibilities will include: Working as Edit Lead on multiple ATP Masters 1000 and ATP 500s tournaments throughout the year, overseeing the creative content produced by multiple editors and producers for inclusion in ATP Media’s market leading World Feed programme and for its multiple global broadcasters. Developing engaging feature and content ideas for both specific tournaments and across the ATP Tour season to reflect individual stories and events, in close collaboration with the World Feed producer and wider editorial team. Developing efficient and robust edit workflows, setting and maintaining standards across all the edits servicing the live output, from pre-tournament planning to post-tournament archiving. Providing leadership within the edit, clearly setting the priorities and working closely with our facilities provider to overcome any technical issues and develop improvements in workflows. Overseeing the freelance edit team and their schedules, including responsibility for crewing for tournaments. Liaising with international rights-holders to ensure ATP Media is creating the content they want and need to the highest possible standard. Reviewing the media portal downloads to assess the utilisation of content by ATP Media’s broadcast partners. Working in a collaborative and efficient manner with our Non-Live & Original Programming department, closely communicating on content creation and utilisation. Participating in pre-event planning meetings to determine storylines and editorial priorities. Prioritising edit output during fast-moving or unpredictable scenarios (such as breaking news, weather delays, player retirement and withdrawals) Ad hoc writing of scripts and producing of commentators if voice overs required. Checking the accuracy of any on screen graphics, including name supers, stings and maps Making sure all content has the correct audio configurations. Checking output from the edit ensuring it meets all quality, editorial and compliance standards. Working closely with the in house Media Management team to ensure content is organised, compiled and archived effectively. Overseeing pre-tournament promotional VTs and Video New Releases (VNRs) Being a key contact for ATPM’s commercial department with regards to ad hoc broadcaster requests. Essential Attributes: Deep knowledge of post-production workflows and editing tools such as Adobe Premiere and IPD. Good knowledge and experience of remote production workflows. Experience leading multiple edits and delivering fast-turnaround content to tight deadlines. Strong editorial judgment and a thorough understanding of World Feed and broadcaster content requirements. Excellent communication and team-leadership skills in a fast-paced live environment. Creative thinker. Keen problem solver with a positive ‘can-do’ attitude. Ability to deliver when under pressure. Strong attention to detail. An interest in new technology, workflows and advancements in post-production. A minimum of 7 years experience in the broadcast industry. Desirable Tennis knowledge Knowledge of live production workflows Knowledge of Adobe After Effects The role involves significant time in the broadcast hub in London, involving weekend work and overnight hours.
