Contracts Manager – Exeter (Permanent)

We are working with a respected contractor to recruit an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee multiple construction schemes across the region. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a company delivering high-quality projects and to play a key role in their continued success.
As a Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of projects ranging up to £3m, running up to 3 schemes at any one time. You will work closely with dedicated commercial team and Site Managers, ensuring programme, quality, and safety standards are met.
Responsibilities
* Manage all on-site teams, ensuring projects run to programme and budget.
* Prepare detailed construction programmes and progress reports.
* Represent the company at monthly client and project meetings.
* Support Site Managers with H&S compliance, RAMS, and CPP.
* Assist the commercial team with procurementvband risk management.
* Ensure projects meet quality, safety, and client expectations.
* Use Microsoft Project and Microsoft 365 Apps for planning and reporting.
About You
* Experienced in main/principal contracting.
* Strong knowledge of construction processes and JCT contracts.
* Track record of managing multiple projects concurrently.
* Excellent leadership, organisation, and client-facing skills.
* SMSTS, First Aid, and relevant H&S training required.
* Temporary Works Coordinator experience (ideal).
