We’re looking for three experienced and hands-on Estates Officers to join our Trust Estates team. 1 x Babington Academy - Full time; 1 x Heatherbrook Primary Academy - Full time; 1 x Heatherbrook Primary Academy - Part time. You’ll bring proven experience in estates, facilities or site management, a strong understanding of health and safety, and a proactive, practical approach. You’ll also demonstrate leadership, reliability and excellent problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
* Carry out and oversee maintenance and repairs across school buildings and grounds.
* Ensure compliance with statutory requirements including fire safety, asbestos, legionella, COSHH and emergency procedures.
* Manage site security, including opening/closing, alarms and callouts.
* Supervise cleaning teams and manage contractors on site.
* Support minor projects, refurbishments and improvement works.
* Respond promptly to issues and maintain high standards across all academies.
What you’ll need
* Practical, hands-on experience in estates, facilities or site management.
* Strong understanding of health and safety requirements.
* Proactive approach with leadership, reliability and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work across multiple academies and manage contractors and cleaning teams.
