Field Service Engineer Level 2
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Field Service Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support and service to our clients in the field. You will play a crucial part in ensuring the optimal performance of our equipment and systems, addressing any issues that arise, and delivering solutions that meet our customers’ needs. This position requires a proactive approach, strong problem‑solving abilities, and excellent communication skills. Working a 4‑day week and a weekend call‑out rota (1 in 4).

Responsibilities
* Conduct on‑site installation, maintenance, and repairs of equipment and systems.
* Troubleshoot technical issues and provide effective solutions in a timely manner.
* Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored service.
* Maintain accurate records of service activities, including reports on repairs and maintenance performed.
* Provide training to clients on the proper use and maintenance of equipment.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while performing duties.
* Stay updated on industry trends and advancements to enhance service delivery.
* Chemical handling, COSHH understanding.
Experience
* Proven experience as a Field Service Engineer or Plumber role is preferred.
* Strong technical background with knowledge of mechanical, electrical, or electronic systems in the water treatment sector is desirable.
* Excellent problem‑solving skills with the ability to think critically under pressure.
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
* A valid driving licence is essential for travel to client sites.
* Flexibility to work irregular hours as needed to meet client demands.
* N/SVQ or equivalent experience in plumbing/heating operations.
* Self‑motivated with strong ethical and working principles.
