However, we welcome applications from individuals wishing to work on a part-time basis and we are willing to consider flexible working patterns subject to business need About the role: The principal responsibility of the Police National Systems Officer is to create, update, amend and/or delete data on the Police National Computer (PNC), its replacement Law Enforcement Data Services (LEDS) and other selected IT systems in respect of persons, vehicles and property. In particular to: Assess and evaluate information, intelligence and action requests based on operational priorities in a timely manner. Ensuring a high level of data accuracy, legislative compliance, national and local policy compliance and proportionality, in line with service level agreements and statutory obligations. Providing specialist advice and knowledge on all PNC/LEDS matters (and associated IT systems) to colleagues within Devon and Cornwall, other forces and partner agencies in support of operational and organisational objectives, national and local policy and legislation. This list of duties is not restrictive or exhaustive and the post-holder may be required to carry out duties from time to time that are either commensurate with/or lower than the grade of the post.
