As a Social Worker you will be:
Responsibilities
* Work within a small team of seven to eight social workers.
* Hold and manage a workload of children and young people, prioritising all work.
* Undertake direct work with children, their families and carers, providing high support and challenge to help families find solutions.
* Provide high-quality and timely assessments and reports in the agreed format for Court, Child Protection Case Conferences, Statutory Reviews and any other forum.
* Maintain client records up to date.
* Support children and families to reach the best outcomes in a timely manner.
* Collaborate across teams, sharing best practice and knowledge to continually improve service delivery.
Qualifications & Experience
* Qualified Social Worker with post-qualification experience working directly with children and families, committed to supporting children to remain with their families.
* Registered with Social Work England.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with children, families and other professionals.
* Team player with the ability to engage and communicate with disabled children, committed to ensuring the best quality service for all.
* Motivation to work with children and families to give them the right support at the right time to keep families together where it is safe.
